Sr. Evangelista Busingye

I am Sr. Evangelista Busingye (Ph.D.) a lecturer at Kyambogo University, Faculty of Education in the Department of Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching at the University for eighteen years. I have a lot of experience in training ECE tutors and teachers. I also supervise research, carry out Staff and Institution mentoring to provide quality Early Childhood Educations services.
I am a self-motivated lecturer who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake. I enjoy learning new skills and working with others to achieve a certain objective on time. I am open-minded, approachable, patient, and supportive of other people, especially towards students.
As a Lecturer and religious my main interest has been on the spiritual aspect of growth and development of students, staff, and families. I carry out this aspect at the University and in communities by giving workshops and counseling and writing some books for spiritual guidance. I believe providing such support to communities provides quality early childhood care to their children which is one of ECE objectives. My congregation has also recognized this spiritual aspect and gave me the responsibility for the ongoing formation of our religious sisters and in charge of their professional development. I am therefore good at career guidance so whoever needs support, I am always available.
